TOILE DE JOUEY QUILT IN 'PLUS SIGN' PATTERN

 This is a very large quilt, measuring 91"x 91" square. 

The block pattern is made up of interlocking 'plus signs' +++, and it's comprised of several toile de jouey fabrics collected over time in various colors...turkey red, prussian blue, black, green, burnt sienna, etc. the overall affect is unified and modern, a twist on the ornamental look of the material. 

The backing is comprised of two fabrics, both toile prints.

Finally, the binding was done in a soft gray ticking.
