Holiday Christmas Quilt

 This very large quilt (over 90" x 90"), is a holiday inspired design comprised of a multitude of fabrics in shades of red, green, white, and cream. 

The modern block patterns offsets some of the whimsy of the cheery fabrics where holly is the dominant figural motif. 

The backing is a 1940's-esque pictorial pattern of ivy vines intertwined amongst gold picture frames of different shapes and sizes. The greens and squares pair nicely with the front quilt design. 

And for the binding how could I not go with a candy cane red ticking? It's the happy cherry on top of this Christmas confection.
